The Eglesfield Musical Society is run by a committee of students, with the assistance of Senior Treasurer Prof. Owen Rees. We are responsible for organising the majority of musical events in college for students and the general public. If you see us around college, we’re always willing to have a chat about any questions or suggestions related to college music. Prospective students should also feel free to get in touch via email. The EMS holds meetings fortnightly. Any member of the society is encouraged to attend.
Requests for recital slots should be directed to our Recitals and Concerts Manager. General queries should go to the President. For information on college music groups, take a look at the EMS Ensembles page, where you can also find contact details for the Director of each ensemble. For anything related to the Choir or Choral and Organ Scholarships, visit the Choir page. Please be aware that the Choir is separate from the Eglesfield Musical Society and our own non-auditioning EMS Chorus.
